But there are certain standard rules which should be followed if you want to look graceful and want good compliments for your makeup. Lipstick is one of the parts of makeup which is used more than often as it is not a symbol of fancy looks and it can be easily carried in the daily routine. There are not as such any rules for applying lipstick but if some points are kept in mind then it’ll give a good look.

There are some tips for applying lipstick so let’s have a look.

  1. First of all apply a lip liner onto your lips to add shape and define for your lips and the color of lip liner should always be one shade darker than that of color of you lipstick.
  2. Now apply a little bit moisturizer to make your lips soft and let you lipstick glide on more easily.
  3. Apply some foundation on your lips which will act as a base and it will help even out the color of the lipstick on your lips.
  4. Then slightly open your lips in a very relaxing manner and don’t rub the lipstick hard on your lips.
  5. You can use the brush for applying lipstick as it will evenly spread the color on your lips and if you don’t have any then you can apply straight from the stick.

These were some of the tips which if followed can give a very glowing look for your lips and helps in making you look decent and good.
